Morning all Yesterday around midday my red Turtle was stolen from the Digbeth area of Birmingham. My Grandfather bought it new in '85 so it has massive sentimental value plus is 1 of just 39 still on the DVLA as being on the road. If anyone sees or hears anything please let me know or call the feds. It's probably been trashed or weighed in by now but fingers crossed she turns up safe... Cheers Nick

Much appreciated. No news but still keeping them crossed. RetroMat (or anyone else for that matter): why would exporters go for something like this tho? It's rarity can't make it appealing to many as hardly anyone knows what it is especially to an export market? Cheers Nick

Alot of old J stuff mostly from the 80's seem to be common export vehicles nowadays, such as bluebirds, sunnys, corollas, carinas and even tercels they send them to africa alot.

what he said ^ its an old toyota so popular in Africa. Also the value for export of these old japanese vehcles (and the high price of scrap ) is why my 79 toyota is hidden out of view of my road.
