A mate has discovered one T&T for £400 locally. Sounds nice. Straight & tidy. They are well unloved and ignored.
He might run it as his daily.
I kinda fancy one of the boxy old rot boxes though.
Whats "the treatment" for aone of these you reckon?
I was thinking 2.2i Carlton CIH engine & box, red wrench springs, some 7x13 Revo's or similar (4" PCD, what fits off a Mini... hmmmm) and a respray in MG-Rover Trophy Yellow. Some circuit racer style graphics and accessories perhaps?

4" vs 100mm problem there. The old Vauxhalls don't usually like it.

Hello Chaps, just taken Bryn's advice and registered!
You will soon find out that this will be my standard reply to virtually every car on the planet and it especially applies to the Victor 101 - slam it on the floor and fit American Torque Thrust five spokes - that'll be sharp spokes not Torque Thrust D's!
Oh and a small block Chevy too - I reckon the engine bay in the 101's huge and will swallow it.
Very, very cool car

Here's my mate's Victor wagon. I've been suggesting torque thrusts or some smoothies as I'm not that keen on his rims. 2.1 Ford Pinto lump, slammed to within a Rizla's thickness from the ground ;D

Those are both FBs (although prettier than the 101) The 101 is the really boxy one which came after that.

Those two FB's are the nads - I know the top one, it was built by Russ can'tremember but the current owner seems to have lost the plot a bit IMHO - put bonnet pins and a huge tach in it - the car's a cruiser always was, not a street racer.
Your mates looks very cool - agreed about the Torque Thrusts although those rims don't look too bad.
If you want to see more trick 101's read Aussie Street machine, there's often one or two in there and that is one quality publication - why can't we have mags like it?

How about a 2.4 cih from a frontera. I`ve never really heard a great deal about them but could make a refrshing change.
