	been thinking of having a go at this but would like some pointers on what you need and where to get the stuff from. was going to start small to see if i can get the hang of it so any tips and information welcome.also is it very messy? i pressume its a bit like sanding you start off with a rough paper and work up to a finner one.

	I've just been using sandpaper, starting at 400 grit and working down through the grades to 2000 and finishing off with Brasso. Seems to work quite well but is time consuming. There's folks on here that know their stuff better than me though, Seth for one and Ratta for another, the latter even sells stuff designed specifically for the job.
