I'm new to this forum and have recently acquired a 86'Polo Coupe S (Designer Coupe Limited Model). I am now the 2nd owner from new (the first owner being an elderley lady) with only 77k on the clock. The car was brought directly from volkswagen and had all the possible factory extras of the time fitted at the karmann factory electric tilt and slide sunroof electric windows full Zender body kit Ronal alloy wheels "Sportier" suspension etc.. everything is original, even down to the blaupunkt headunit, volkswagen breakdown cover sticker and original floormats in excellent condition Bonus: doesnt need lots of work Excuse the bad pictures, from my iphone brochure: Hope you like and thanks for looking, Adam.

Take the Accord wagon out of the picture & that could be 1986. What a find! Lovely & clean - that needs to stay exactly as it is. No coilies!

I would kill a man for that! What a stunningly clean example. So what is on your list of things to do to her..? Must say I agree with the above comments... It's got to stay standard. Oh and welcome to the forum. ;D

Here - one pic thread, click on my car and it takes you to my gallery, which is well due an update now i'm running vvt: retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=84814&page=13Originally came with the same interior as Adams pictured above, without the electric windows only his ultra rare and mint 'designer' got, but mine was hanging so i replaced it with the one from the late donor shown in my gallery. Adam's is also in that gallery!

love it, got a soft spot for these, had a breadvan then 2 coupes.......have you got it on agreed value insurance? inspired by the poor guy witht he proton accident elsewhere.......i had a lovely tidy white 86 coupe, got rear ended, could have been pulled out and sorted but the insurance were nobs and wouldn't play ball, so i had to buy it back and break it. 3 years ago i got 750 out of them for it.
