1992 Peugeot 309 gti Leicestershire £1400

I am reluctantly putting my 309 gti up for sale. Its a 1992 model on a J plate. Its done 102,000 miles,taxed till the end of July and MOT till June .
I have owned the car for around 6 months in which time I have had the rear beam rebuilt, put new discs and pads all round, new battery and serviced it, I used it everyday, it has never let me down and is great fun to drive. These cars are becoming increasingly rare.

There are a few minor issues but none that effect the driving, the front fog lights do not work but all the other electrics are sound, some minor surface rust and the drivers seat is slightly worn.

Is that a Coventry registered model ? Are the original wheels available?

hi not sure where it was registered the wheels are original just been powder coated, not selling any parts just the car

Going off the Reg Plate, yes it is a Coventry registered model.

A Free bump. If I had the space I would have seriously considered this. Are you open to swap?

Is there any service history, ie the original service book nicely stamped and lots of musty receipts. Many previous owners? Any rust under the sills or around the fuel tank? Any rust under the boot carpet? Any rust in engine bay. The short MOT is a worry though. Does it start ok from cold and idle smoothly?

hi yeh there is some service history, however the service book is not apparent, there is lots of old recipes and MOT certificates, On the last MOT there was 3 advisories and i have addressed all three.
Just had a look at the V5 and its had 10 owners me being the tenth.
There is no rust apparent around the sills the boot floor looks to have been replaced,
Always starts and idles well it does smoke a little when first starts but soon clears
I'm open to negotiation

600 Quid oh dear some people make u laugh! especially those who put a price on a car without going to look at it sadly theres a few messers on here now glws u should get close to what u want these are becoming rare now!
