Model: VW Golf 1.4 Ryder
Year: 1993
Mileage: 142000
Tax: February 2012
MOT: July 2012
Location: Norfolk
Price: 300
Additional Information:
This is a slightly scruffy but quite solid Mk3 Golf Ryder. It has a 1.4-litre engine and a 4-speed gearbox, manual windows and no power steering. It actually goes surprisingly well, and it's not too low-geared for motorway cruising either. It's been lowered, as you can see from the photos, and handles nicely. It's currently running on plain 13" steels as the previous owner kept the alloys to go on his new car - they grip well enough though. It has a big-bore back box which is currently in the boot - it's currently running without a back box, but is not overly noisy like this. The centre section of the front grille is also missing.
It's MoT'd until late July and taxed until the end of this month. It actually has a fair bit of history with it, and seems to have been well maintained. Cambelt was last done 35,000 miles ago so should be good for a while yet. The interior is in quite good condition for its age and all the electrics seem to work, although the heater fan switch has lost its plastic cover.
Here's a couple of pics - more to follow when my camera is charged up.
I'm after offers around £300 for it, or may p/x / swap for anything interesting.
