Awesome! I do love the Mk4's! What are your plans? A good tidy up and clean up?
Certainly looks like a good base to start from.

My neighbour had one for years, IIRC on a T-plate. It was a putrid pea-green colour. In its latter years, it smoked and clattered like a good 'un (very worn camshaft) but would somehow always start, even if the battery was struggling to turn it over! The owner rarely washed (or taxed) it either...

Oh my word, that looks like it's going to be a stunner when it's all done...! The Mk4 is so underrated and is probably my favourite Cortina of them all (Jupiter Red 2.3 S please!!!)... Please keep us posted as often as you can I look forward to seeing the end result...

( www.buysellcortina.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/48349-just-passing-through/page__st__15 pics in that thread on page 2-not sure if you need to sign up to view...) they're great cars - nice buy mate-youll enjoy it

I then wanted to start cleaning the interior as it stinks of wood (the material not the smell of a boner) best quote ever!
