Hmmm, I don't think I'd swap my non-mot'd bay with a knackered engine for that potential bag of worms. Even in it's present state my bay is worth more than a grand as they are starting to catch up with the split scren vans.
That Manta is so wrong it's right! Just not for £6000

I love that Manta! I don't love it enough to part with £6k though... liiittle on the overpriced side.
And that MGB owner will be lucky to get a bay with ticket for a grand, but I don't think it's impossible, if you look outside "the scene"...

Hold on a minute. Perhaps we are overlooking this one. Sometimes people can be a bit vague with their ebay descriptions or miss important stuff out. So, looking at the photos and considering the asking price perhaps we should read between the lines on this. For example, the Bodykit. Sure, it looks like it is made of wheelie bins but perhaps it is infact made of gold? That quantity of even 9ct gold would surely be worth a fair bit. Perhaps the car has a signed contract to appear in a film? (Police academy European vacation?) Or perhaps the phone number (mentioned on the car) is included in the sale. I can't think of anyone with the phone number 911. This would make it a very attractive purchase for a Minicab firm or perchance a Kebab shop? The seller is a bit guarded on the delivery too. Could it be he has asked his bank to deliver it? If it costs them £25 to deliver a letter to tell me I have missed a direct debit, it would surely cost a fortune for my bank to send a whole car?

Easy my militant friends, read the MG description, "I am willing to swap with cash for a VW type 2 bay"
So the MG and some cash? Sounds feasible huh?
Unlike that Manta... Blimey. ;D
