Hi guys, Ive decided to let the Evo go. Its a shame as its without doubt the fastest car Ive ever owned, goes like a stabbed rat and it grips like you wouldnt believe ;D Perfect for prescott hill....
Shame is cash flow is even tighter than I had thought and the stiff suspension is beginning to break my back as I have to drive over cobbles to get in/out of my drive. Oh and my pregnant wife doesnt fit in the front passenger seat If I could keep it as a toy believe me I would. But if I get rid of this I might be able to keep my metro and midget!
So its a 93 Lancer GSR Evolution (or evo1) 2.0 turbo 250bhp 4wd. Its an import and the mileage is reading just over 130k (but remember a lot of this will have been in kms)
Good bits first.
tax and test , scorpion alarm, front and rear strut braces, turbo timer, adjustable shocks with stiff (lower I think) yellow springs, front racing seats, original momo steering wheel with rare centre cover, hks backbox, cd player, a previous owner has stripped the boot and moved the battery there, serviced about 600 miles ago. Oh and theres a cool little button for injecting water onto the intercooler between the seats!
Bad things finally
Rear electric windows don't work, horn doesn't work, aerial missing, rear fog doesnt work, tyres nearing their end.
*First gear has failed* All other gears work but first has failed completely.
Just wanted to over-describe it to show Ive nothing to hide.
Still a rare and undeniably retro motor!
Hoping for a quickish sale so if anyone wants to make a reasonable offer just try me, I wont bite.
