some people have no respect. all they see is a car worth a bit in scrap and don't think about its sentimental value. hope it gets found in one piece, especially as I have a special fondness for favorits. thought the new laws were supposed to combat this type of thing. (where only licensed carriers can remove scrap metal and scrap yard owners have to have proof of this before accepting any cars - apparently thats what Ive read anyway) obviously not going to work if this is still happening.  selfish, despicable people. |

The law comes in on April 1st, that photographic id has to be shown when weighing scrap in. Might be an idea to ring round all the local scrappies and report it to them, not many favvies left to scrap so should be easily spotted

Seems a bit of a daft car to nick for scrapping though. No cat to weigh in, and they don't weigh a lot. If they were going round nicking cars for scrap surely they'd get something a bit heavier/newer.
