After a somewhat beer addled conversation with a friend of a work collegue money changed hands and I became the proud owner of a Z32 300zx Twin turbo. May I present Oto, Who smells like a crack den and Runs like a 3 legged poor quality wobbly children's play pony Oh dear god what have I done But hey it was £500 taxed and tested and its manual so I can't really loose out.... I think It has been modified so if i get it running right it could be a nice weapon. Its had Full decat and performance exhaust, triple plate clutch, larger front mount intercooler and induction system topped off with a remap and a apexi boost controller. So it should be a fair bit more than the standard 300bhp ;D

500 quid for a manual turbo 300zx sounds an absolute bargain, tax and test too!
I'd like to agree you can't go wrong at that price. Have to ask though, how come your mate was selling it at such a price?

It runs like a sack of curse word and i think his missus was getting a bit fed up with him throwing money at it. To be honest I don't know if it was him that did the mods i hope not there are some absolute horrors going on under that engine bay. I've already had to replace and re fit the boost controller hoses and some of the wiring. I have spent a day chasing down evey air leak i stopped counting at 15. There was a sheared off bolt on the balance tube between the plenums so it sucked air there too.
Now awaiting a airflow meter to cure the lumpy idle and overfueling.

Ok so the one thing that was really bugging me in the interior was this.... Omgz wtf??? Thats the boost controller on top and the turbo timer underneath securely held on with black tape So cue a dismantling of the lower dash and centre console and voila!! Much better

Sheesh thats silly cheap - nice job tidying up the controllers
I bought a manual GSi Carlton 12V once that smelled like a crack den - stripping it for parts I found so many needles and empty bottle of prescription heroin it was scarey

OMGZ no updates for over a month what a lazy sod i've been... Well first off that smashed front bumper was removed and replaced by a series 2 bumper which is much smoother looking. The crazed rear light has been ditched and replaced also. Added my subway ring too Moar to followz..

Jesus that's a bargain for £500, worth that to break it surely! Anyway good to see it saved from that kind of fate, the OE bumper looks loads better as do the tail lights. Good work.

Nice Bargin. A friend had one of these. The wiring to the fuel injectors corrodes. He cut some wiring with injector plugs of a nissan micra and soldered them on and it cured running issues similar to yours. Worth a try.
