1300 pushrod engine on a twin choke carb and ECS. Completely standard engine on 103k miles, this goes up everyday, I drive a 14ish mile commute and have used this everyday as a daily since christmas 2010 when I bought it. Always been reliable.
Bodywork is good for its age, usual dints and dents around it, rear arches are rusty but not awful, bottom section is getting worse though. Battery tray was done last year along with a small patch on the passenger footwell. I waxoyled it at the beginning of this year and the floor pan looks very good. Floor is damp on drivers side in the back,, boot is also damp, looks to be coming in through rear screen seal, common area apparently.
Had the rear of both sills done recently and was told that it is a good solid car for what it is. Autofusion in Leigh did the work and anybody who knows these guys will know the job was done well. MOT test said some corrosion on inner sills, nothing serious though, just an advisory.
edit: just had a poke and found the front floor/inner sill needs welding up around 8" long on the drivers side and theres a soft patch around 4-5" long in the middle of the inner sill on the passenger side. This will fail the MOT but doesn't appear to be a major repair. I cannot vouch for this.

Has a bit of recent history, not a great deal though.
MOT till January 4th 2014, some advisories such as rear tyres (new yokohama tyres a couple of months ago),rear wheel bearing(have replacement), rear brake pipes, cv gaitors are old but still seal. Otherwise went straight through with nothing to fail on
Tax till End of June 2014
Brakes are a little juddery, I have some replacements but not had time to fit, only really tell under hard braking.
I have a NOS weber carb to go with the car, it could do with a service and it does push oil out the breather so needs topping up, doesn't leak any though.
It has been lowered by myself, currently on front koni shocks and spax rear shocks.
no other mods have been done and I still have the original springs which will be supplied if wanted.
Any more questions please ask away.
I WILL PUT UP TO DATE PICTURES ON SOON, not a lot has changed but I will highlight the rusty areas as obviously this is an old advert and the corrosion has progressed due to it's daily use.
