I'm house hunting at the moment and I keep getting distracted by what car is on the drive! You scroll down, ruling things out and then see the corner of an interesting looking car and click the link straight away just to see if it is what you think it is. Does anyone else do this? It also makes me thing thing such as 'well, if they feel it's safe enough to keep that there, then mine should be fine'. This is a recent one for example:

Ive often done that don't worry. often spent time flicking through the property pages and checking out the cars trying to figure out what sort of person lives in that house (because I'm a sad git ;D ) plus sometimes you see such a posh house in the several hundreds of thousands with a £300 banger parked on the drive. now that always gets my attention

I was in the dentists earlier, flicking through a 'Grand Designs' magazine. Visible in every picture of the exterior was the owner's MGB. He must have moved it to get it in all the pictures ;D

I know of someone who booked a house viewing purely to go and see the Skoda parked on the neighbours drive in an estate agent's blurb!

i bought my last house purely for the garage and the access, but then after never getting my pride and joy out (did 13k in 5 years and would never get it out in the rain) i decided the next house i bought would not have a garage, so now my car sit son the drive and i use every waking moment, but i do have a large sideway into my garden and a massive shed so i can just drive into the garden if i wanted but i don't lol, but there has been times when i still wish i had a garage but not many to be honest, my last house i bought the neigbour had a 3.0 turbo supra on a f plate, the other side had a m5 on a m plate and 2 doors away the guy had a camaro on the drive with a chevy day van over the drive and a firebird in his garage and 56 chevy in the garage he rented from next door :-) it was nice living there :-)

I bought my house on the basis it had a just about accessible double garage and potential for a drive, and was cheap. Turns out the access road is a bit more of a job to clear than first thought but my neighbour says he got his BMW Z1 Alpina out last summer so should be fine! I didn't even know he had a garage! Can't wait to see it in the metal (plastic)

WHAT! A genuine RLE living next door to you? Blimey Tim, that's some car and I'll be wanting a look at this next time I crash at yours. Even if it's a replica, I still want a look.... Hope the house is coming on OK? Moved in yet?

(I think the leaning chimney is due to wide-angle shot)
I'm quite young and I'm not looking to buy a house/flat at the moment, but I like the idea of buying a double garage to serve as garage and weekend getaway.

We were checking out the rest of the road on Streetview once and scrolled past a bloke spraying his XJS matt black on the drive. There can't be many of them around

He says it's his pension fund and the words it's number 2 of 66 were uttered......will confirm as soon as I get to know him a bit better ;D

The house my parents live in was bought from the previous owners in 1985. I'll always remember the first time I saw the house. They were still living there and there was a Renault 5 Turbo2 (mid-engine) and a brand new Audi Quattro on a C reg in silver. Since then i've been working towards re enacting that day with my own. but never had the Renault - yet!
