My Datsun 120a FII Coupe

Hi, as it wasn't raining today, and the sun actually came out, I got my 1978 Datsun Coupe out of the garage and went for a little drive - and then decided to take a few photos. Hope you like them.
I got the broken car in 1978, then another car for spares, then another scraper for more spares, then a load of new spares, dismantled everything, cleaned the bits, painted them, greased everything, and then stuck all the best bits together into one working vehicle.
As I've spent a good deal of time getting rid of rust I like to keep the car dry - so unfortunately with our weather it doesn't get out that much - still it doesn't take much to clean that way!

That's a great example, and I love that the engine bay looks like it belongs to a Matchbox car! I don't imagine there's many 100As (or 120As for that matter) about, much less the glassback version.

Yes thats me alright, thanks for the compliment. I was always more interested in model making than cars but my Dad was very much into fixing up vehicles, and so I picked up a few tips from him and have access to his old tools. I still have another broken 120a and boxes of spare parts so I need to find some time to work on that one, it has a number of faults and requires welding but my biggest problem is trying to decide what colour to paint it!
