to be honest, i think it looks better with out a spliter on the front Bruce, do you remember us driving through London last year and spotting one of these (with the original owners pottering along in it) and talking about building one

Blimey!!! Thats pretty hardore, well it seems it to me anyway. is there over 1/2 inch of suspension travel? You cant go wrong with those wheels though, I love em, they look great. they're like a kind of 'german government bond' in wheel form, you can literally cash them in anywhere and always come up trumps. I've actually had to raise the front 10mm, just because the upper suspension arms are out of travel and are interfering with the drop links. I've some ideas for clearancing to allow more drop, as the other wheel and tyre combo has a 20mm smaller rolling radius. Swapping the stock coilover springs out for some 'guestimated' 500lb Rally Design springs gives a firm but comfortable ride. At least I managed not to shear all the bolts off on this one! ;-)

So you thought the MA61 rims looked the biz? Well take a deep breath and drink this in then: In the flesh this thing looks amazing....absolutely sublime in fact. It drives really well too, you have to remind yourself how low it is because it simply doesn't feel like it when behind the wheel.

Ha, Bruce got so excited about the new wheels, he couldn't wait for me to post my own photos.
Folks that know me will know of my aim of putting a set of Grand Cherokee snowflakes on a small car for a good couple of years, before the latest trend of X5/Range Rover wheels on cars really took off. I guess I'm a little late to the party.
I've still got to fettle the ride height and the camber, as this wheel/adaptor combo results in a different offset than the MA61 rims, then I'll wash it and take some more pics. Rich also very kindly re-c*nted my anti-social exhaust with a Perry Bomb (tm) from the Cuore's old side exit, plus lent a helping hand with my sub wiring.
Next step is to get the rear arches repaired and hopefully get some paint on it, as there's some flaky spots, plus being giffer spec there's plenty of rash on all four bumper corners.

That's awesome... All that scrubbing of the old lacquer was well worth it!
Good vision, equally good execution.

As I mentioned on FB, that just looks amazing! Very USDM inspired I think.
Will the CRX front bumper fit?
Rysz.

Will the CRX front bumper fit? Nope, the saloons are pretty unique from the A pillar forwards, the wings, bonnet, bumper and corner lamps are not interchangable with any other model.

Small update, those of you may have seen this at RRG12 after its repaint, and refurbed wheels. After painting, the lower section looked a little blocky, so I had Mystery Machine make me up some logos to go on the side. A play on the vTec stickers, but relevant to my car. Alas, more projects in the wings, and now being walking distance from work means this great little car is now up for sale.

After a very generous nomination from Speedman in the Awards thread, I thought I'd show you a sneak peek of the Fast Car feature the Civic is getting in their 'retro-themed' issue which is out next month.

Don't think I've seen a single one of your cars that I disliked. You have a real nack for getting it right.
