It's had an auto manual conversion a 240z steering wheel a full respray in Holden sting red. Its also had a re trim in half leather with a new dash. The engines just the normal stock 2.6 running twin SU carbs. Anyway enjoy the photo I'll up load more about the progress later.

Anyway I promised I'd show you the work I'd done to it. Started off like this. Had a front end hit that pushed the lights and bumper out of alignment also the vent was broken and the wrong colour. Damn they hard to find replacements. Passenger side door handel was broken too. $19 fron the states ya.......... $49 postage doh!!! And inside Already decided the colour was going to be red an black But needed to sort the tin worm out first. And And It also looked like some one at some stage had had a slight disagreement with the door I don't no who come off better but the door had seen better days. I think it's a good idea to point out at this stage I have never attempted anything like this before and had only prevouisely read in a book what to do and literally though..... I'll give that a go. Any way the rest of the photos are just the car being rubbed down. I did brake the back bumper bracket and while it would have been alot easier to drill out the bolt and buy a new one something inside of me thought it would be a food idea to smooth the back end. (what a plonka) Finally got it all primed up Bought the paint a spray gun mask and compressor I'd like to say there were alot of people out there that gave me a hard time over this telling me the primmer wasn't right for the base coat the compressor wasn't man enough blar blar blar It was more then enough and I don't expect it to be perfect FFS I'm doing it my garage not a dust free spray booth der!!! Anyway the compressor was only a 2hp 40 lt job and handled it. My gun So I went to work on the base coat Before After Finished that after a few days. Yeah alright I'm slow so what!!! It was time to trile fit bits Stripped the parts back off ready for it's top coat Put all the bits back on it Made a go faster strip out of some masking tape Broke out the wet and dry and cutting compound Spent about three days so far rubbing it down and removing runs and orange peel lol And the result

Oh boo hoo! Was it too sunny for you over there?! Is it too dry for your garden?! Come over here and you'll never have to worry about it ever again. Seriously though, great job!

Nice job mate, Maybe the pro's get a good "gun finish" but, as you've shown, you can still get a more than acceptable finsh with a bit of hard work at the end, Best part is the glow you get inside when someone compliments it and you know that it's your work !! :-)

Yeah there's this orange glow in the sky most days even when it's overcast you still need ya sunnies
Joking aside thanks it has made people sit up and take note.
If I was too do it again I'd take more time and probable tackle one panel at a time and not do some of it in the dark.
I'd also wet the garage floor down and ground the car.

Well done for having a go fella. Looks nice in the photos anyway. I wish I'd bought one of these years ago, when they were affordable money.
