An afternoon of classics at Bearwood College

Its the closest show to home for me, all of 3 minutes drive away so it seemed rude not to wheel both our old Dubs out to go. I nabbed the Camper and SWMBO and miniSWMBO grabbed the Beetle.



Its set in the grounds of the local private college and about 200 assorted vehicles rolled in. We were on the lower field looking up to the terrace area.









The chairman of Reading FC was the guest of honour and was seen admiring a certain blue camper and yellow Beetle (the man owns an XJ220 amongst many other cars)

Up on the terrace, even more cool cars were parked up, the place was heaving with people as the sun had decided to shine for once.









A friend of ours from the VW club won the lottery with some friends, he ended up with a £15000 share and after paying some bills treated himself to possibly the cleanest Minor convertible ever.

Following an ice cream break we moved into the entrance courtyard for yet more cars.
