The old mans got a low mileage burgundy 1986 carlton diplomat thats in good nick but has stood for a year or two. It's a 2.0l auto with all the toys leather, aircon etc.
It's probably going for scrap as he has to vacate his unit but just out of curiosity are these desirable or worth anything?
It's in the north east and I'm sure he'd listen to above scrap value offers however if its unlikely then it's a goner.

cars easy worth that but where do you get £325? we get £90 a ton here at present.

Cars based in Ashington. £90 a ton is similar to what the local small yards were paying at the turn of the year. The bigger yards were paying upwards of double that at the time I posted. So shell plus wheels plus cat.....
