That's cool. It would be a great driving instructor's car! I personally think that everyone should learn to drive in an old beetle anyway. They're easy enough to learn, but still require some kind of driver input, rather than just doing everything for you automatically. It would give people an appreciation for modern small cars having so much more power as well.

It would give people an appreciation for modern small cars having so much more power as well. Hughes Motors of Nairobi had some 105E Anglias with complete dual control in the early 60's. I can remember one instructor in particular who used to cruise around solo, looking like Joe Cool, sitting in the left hand seat with his arm draped casually out the window. I was only a kid then, but I was impressed! (probably the only one who was)
