LOL good luck finding any of those. particularly a FE VX4/90 which is tax exempt with a full MOT for 250 quid! May as well stipulate that it must have had a bare-metal respray in the last 6 months as well.

someone needs a wake up call, have you been asleep for a few years and not realised how much it cost for classic cars now. Even a scrap car is worth £350 + just for spares and scrap value is going to be £170 and on top of that you want a full MOT and tax. Just in case you do get offered some and don't need them pass them on to me lol

He might be unaware of prices of these cars? I got an OTR BMW 2002Tii for 800 in 2005, and I bet you could get most for around that price. You can't now though.

yeah, as noted, double the price youve quotes for every car and you might just get one within that budget.
pretty much any tax exempt T+T car is worth the best part of a grand these days, except a few oddballs that are miles outside your critera. especially in the essex/london area, where prices are higher compared to the majority of the country.

I had know Idea on prices, you ask I looked them up. all prices where taken from a online price guide and I added £100 for mot. If I get somthing great if I don't don't matter none to me things are only worth what someones willing to pay.

pretty much all the online price guides are 10 years out of date. i picked up the classic car magazine price guide issue in tesco the other day and had a leaf through it, the prices were laughable.
my knowledge was limited to brands ive dealt with over the years, but a T+T lada for £300 or a moted tax exempt bug for under 1200 quid? yes please, ile take half a dozen of each! (and immediately double my money on ebay in under a week).
online price guides are worthless, as are the ones in car magzines. your best guide these days is probably completed listings on ebay as they're an honest reflection of what people are willing to pay.

The merc was a bad buy though really just fancied one. Still enjoyed it but time for a change again had it since september. The orion is'nt fast enough for me so that will be up for sale too. So I do find and buy cars when I'm looking must say something. As for values I deal with 80's and 90's cars pre this I know not much I'm affraid. Have the fancies so chucked out an ad. Shame the scimitar is poor mpg. ps I pay £40 for mot and never spent more than £100 getting a car through one

I would have just considered if I could afford and liked what I see enough to by for the price offered, but there you go.
