I am looking to sell my B11 auto saloon for one reason, and that is to fund my next purchase. I love this little stunner, but I have my eye on something I have been after for a long time, and I can't keep them all.
I collected it from a member on the Sunny Owners Club down in SW London back in November, and she drove back without missing a beat, cruising along up the A1 at 70/75mph without problem. I pottered about in her until the tax ran out at the end of February, and she has been SORN'd since. The auto box changes up and down completely smoothly, without any jerkiness, as it should. I have just renewed her MOT, which now runs through to June 2013! She needed a small bit of welding to the sills, two new steering rack gaiters and a frayed seatbelt repaired. The MOT guy was thoroughly impressed by the great condition of this little car. Current mileage is 96,300, but drives like she has many fewer miles on the clock.
Outside, the bodywork is just about as immaculate as you can get for a 27 year old motor. There is a slight rust mark on the O/S rear arch, and a car park dink on the O/S rear door. I'll get pics of these up when I can. Otherwise, just about unmarked. The underneath was waxoiled (or equivalent) from new, and is completely solid according to my local mechanic after having her up on the ramps. Steel wheels are in great nick, and the tyres have loads of life in them. Original dealer fitted original front fogs (thanks to Ross for correcting me that they are not a factory option, but a dealer option).
Inside, the luxurious cream (beige maybe?) velour seats are unmarked, and match well with the period brown dash and plastics! Top of the range SGL spec includes digital clock, rev counter, remote boot/fuel cap release. What more do you need? It doesn't come with a radio, as the original one had been removed by a previous owner, and I was looking out for a replacement.
She drives fantastically well as said before. The only point to note is that on starting from cold (always starts first time), she is a bit chuggy for about 60 seconds, but after that she purrs like a kitten. I gave her a full service within the last 200 miles - oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter (it didn't have one when I bought it!), spark plugs plus auto transmission fluid change, cv boot and O/S wheel bearing replaced. She's also had new wiper blades.
Unfortunately there is next to no history with the car, but it's pretty obvious it has been cherished by it's owners all it's life.
I'm looking for offers around £600.

In the pic below, there is a wet rag underneath the front end. It isn't a leak!! She doesn't lose any fluids.
