It kills me to do this but yet again I'm in need of funds and this has drawn the short straw

Ive not had this long and had grand plans for it but alas its just the wrong time for me to be getting on with it and realistically will prob take me a few years to finish so better it goes to someone that actually finishes it
Bought from the brother of Sophers on here thru ebay last year, it had been standing since 1985 and was given in payment(along with another car) for some work done.....they kept the cooler one and sold this
As a minimum it will need welding work done to rh front chassis leg and all body mounts, the electrics need a good going over but have managed to get the trafficators to work ;D and brake lights but front lights are non existant. The interior is a complete mess and will need a full retrim and new door cards made up but all the seats are there
Got the engine running pretty smooth and the pre-select gearbox works back and forth but will need a new exhaust making up and the radiator top hose inlet will need brazing back on as its come away from the header tank.
May I also add that this is currently partly dismantled to assess the rust in the rh front chassis leg so rh wing is off at the moment and the lever-arm shock has been removed (car still ok to move about though)
This is one of around 5000odd built so quite an oddball vehicle but will need alot of work to get it to an exceptable state
I have to go with this an earlier metal-type dashboard with clocks and another ignition lock/headlight switch as the current items fitted are pretty broken
I'm not in possesion of the V5 at present but it still shows on the DVLA database so should have no probs obtaining it (gonna send off for it next week eitherway)
Obviously will need to be trailered away but can assist with loading
Any other q's please don't hesitate to ask
Steve
