1987 525e (switchable) Auto with 176k on the clock, top end rebuilt about 30ish k ago, have paper work to show this along with loads of other history. Auto box pulls smoothly in every gear and has never missed a beat. It has the 2.7l straight six M20b27 engine, to and from work she does about 40miles to £10, more on a long run.
Body work is fairly good, has a crease in the drivers door which was there when I got it. Has a few other little knocks, but only noticable up close. A couple of little laquer peel areas, the largest on the roof(pic) A kind person broke the electric areial off. Had some welding done for the mot and an advisory for corrosion to outer sill panels where the jacking points are, but underneath he is rock solid. The person that did the welding said that the inside of the seals were spotless. The driverside lock doesn't lock the car as the arm that works the central locking has gone awol, central looking works fine from other doors.
She is in lovely original condition with loads of mot and has about 3 month tax iirc. Since I have owned her I have:
Replaced all the brakes front and back for oem spec items
Replaced all 4 c.v boots as they were perishing again oem spec
Replaced the o/s rear wheel bearing (Oem spec)
Replaced the rear pitman arms
Brand new battery
All 4 tyres are in good condition and alloys are genuine dealer fit items in good condition with all center caps, spare is a nearly new bottle top style alloy with good tyre.
Interior wise she has the usual rip to drivers side bolster. Apart from that the interior is in fantastic condition. The seats are like massive arms chairs and just suck you in lol, great on long journeys. Has original bmw mats which need a good clean. The temperature gauge is right 90% of the time, it goes to max occasionally , but with a little tap on it goes back to normal. I think this is to do with the service indicator board, but have never looked into it. The boot carpet is grubby, but just needs a good clean. Has a complete tool kit apart from the 10mm spanner, which is in my flat somewhere.
Think thats everyting, just ask if I have forgotten something. I am looking for cash, no swaps
