I've tried driving modern cars, but frankly a) I hate it, and b) it bores me. I've also tried using classics as dailies, but there's only so much fixing in a puddle I can take. The solution - an old car with modern running gear.

I'll update with more details tomorrow when I'm killing time at work.

Ok, so I was working from home and got bored, bobbed down to Storeys, spent £12 on some carpet and then spent several hours swearing. Carpet is rubbish, but I've learned enough from this attempt to make a good fist of it when I try again - hey, for £12 it's got to be worth a go and it's a damn sight better than before. Oh, and I've already tidied up the gearbox tunnel, which was an absolute abomination.

Fair play with the carpet, did you use steam on it?

Not sure the buckets suit that car though.

I need buckets as it's going to see track work - if it's a choice between a pair of low back classic vinyls or modern jobs it's an easy decision. I tried Ford Recaros but they looked out of place and crippled my knees without a serious amount of buggering about, the originals were knackered and these were cheap...
