I've been following the fine folks on OD for a while, as many of you have as well.
So thought you'd be interested to know that the 5th Retro Custom Picnic has just taken place. Here's a couple of personal fave pictures. Also a video by the Rub n Roll guys (who similarly rock)
I know a lot of people see the Russian modifying and car scene in a negative light but it is emerging strong with some awesome work coming out of Russia and the CIS. I have been trying to push Eastern European and Russian cars and builds on the GS Autoworks Facebook page as I see this emerging culture as not just some cool cars being made. But it's the shifting of tides in social reform and an indicator that a new class and population of young professionals and free thinkers are emerging in Russia, pushing some of the Communist old guard out. Anyhoo - enough of the political jabbering. Enjoy!
