Hi all. Right some of you may remember this from when I was selling earlier this year.
You may also remember that there was a mishap meaning that 1st gear no longer functions. All the other gears work fine but first is missing. I have been kidding myself that I will get this fixed and now it really needs a new home and someone to bring it back to life. There are boxes available on ebay and Evo1 and 2 boxes are direct swaps but a 3 box will need a matching transfer box as the number of splines are different.
This is a genuine Evo and being the first generation is nice and retro and nice and rare too. 5000 made in Japan and I believe around 60 have been imported to the UK. Seems a shame to break it so I'm really hoping that someone can get it back to the road. There is a small (about 50p sized) area of paint lifted on the front wing but theres no panel damage (see pic). There is also a common fault behind the clutch master cylinder there is a slight crack in the metal of the bulkhead, just wants reinforcing (see pic).
So its a 2.0 turbo 4x4 with a turbo timer, front and rear strut braces, scorpion alarm, adjustable suspension, standard front bucket seats, standard momo steering wheel with the very rare centre cover and about 250 bhp.
It scrubs up really well and was and will be a really great car but with a little one on the way swmbo has put her foot down (I cant get another car until this goes!)
