Thanks for all the favorable comments.
Under the bonnet it is running on the standard engine (2.0 single carb - 100bhp) the only upgrade if you can call it that is an ITG air filter element.
Suspension is also standard but plans for the future include a new set of shocks and bushes all round and lowering springs.

That's a lovely example. Presume it's comfortable on the commute too.
What mpg is it getting, out of interest? I keep debating getting a 99 or 900 to toddle around in.

It is very comfortable, in the early 90's I used to run one of these on my weekly commute from Lincoln to Plymouth. This one is just as capable now as that one was back then.
For the daily commute the first 5 miles and last 5 miles on my return is in stop start city traffic with the other 15 miles each way being fast A roads. For that the average MPG is about 26-27MPG. On a good run it will return 33-35MPG.

On a good run it will return 33-35MPG. That's not bad actually. I don't drive that often so fuel cost isn't a massive concern, but low to mid 30s on a run is pretty decent.

Great to see another gorgeous 99 on here. I must get on with mine and get at least one of them on the road this year.
