is there a way to test used calipers?
i bought some 2nd hand a couple of years ago as i had a sticking caliper, but it freed itself off so i never fitted them.
They have been sitting in the cellar for a couple of years, is there any way of testing them before i fit them?
They are both empty, do i need to do anything to refill them first or just bleed them as normal after fitting?
Also should they be changed in pairs, or can i just change one?
And does anyone know if the short steel pipe section from the caliper to the flexible brake pipe can be bough seperately, or are they just part of a full brake pipe set?
It is on a capri.
Thanks
