no tax or test, ran out as a pose to failed,(3months ago) looks solid underneath, would consider putting in for a test if someone was properly interested.
interior looks fairly good, leather, used but not holed or overly worn, exterior is as you would expect, needs a few bits if your picky but no major pannel damage anywhere. engine 3.0 v6, earlier type on a dizzy not coils, goes like stink, no bad noises from autobox!

I’ve been pointed in the direction of this thread as I have four of this generation Camry at the moment...
What mileage is on it?
In some ways the closest I’ve bought value-wise is a J-reg V6 saloon, a local car that I’d left a note on. Tax and MoT had just expired on that, but it drove OK. Chap had been offered £200 as part-ex, effectively scrap value, but he wanted to see it saved/get a bit more if possible and I was happy to give him £250 for it last year. Done 128k, cost me £300-odd to get through an MoT, mainly due to part of the exhaust needing to be done. That can be a big cost on these as OE ones are £££’s and pattern parts are difficult to find – I recently spent over £400 getting a stainless system made up for another one...
I bought a good 2.2 estate last year off a dealer, full year’s MoT with one owner from new and less than 100k miles, and that was £635. For a really, really good V6 estate I’d have been prepared to pay up to £1000, but I couldn’t find any I was happy with. The other 2.2 estate I bought a few years ago was £550, even with an MoT I can’t think yours would be worth much more than £600-odd. I doubt many people would be that fussed about these to pay a premium for a V6 over the 2.2 (in many ways I prefer the latter, certainly as a daily driver).
Woodsport do V6 MR2 conversions, I think they’ll pay up to £500 for an engine with history (possibly the later one that’s worth more).
In conclusion, if you were round the corner from me and on the basis of your description I would still think £200-250 was about the right money. At that it might be viable to get through an MoT, otherwise it’d be a worthwhile source of spares. Other people, Woodsport or possibly even the right exporter, might be able to give you more. If you had the time and space it might also be worth breaking, given that parts can be tricky on these. Let me know if you do go that route...
They don’t rust very much, I think what’s taking them off the roads is expensive/NLA parts, and HGF/auto ‘box issues on the V6. I think they’re cracking cars though and are well worth the effort of keeping going.

cheers for the in depth reply, il find out miles tonight, but i don't think they're super high!
ive got space to break it, but not realy got the time or inclination, if i could sell the engine on its own id be happy for the rest of it to go over the bridge, ive no emotional attachement to the car!
may have to try an ebay add as complete car to mr2 boys.
