So welded in my wheel well filler panel and coated in seam sealer and came back to this last night (right pain as was going to paint!) Whats gone wrong?? Its the same underneath as well! The metal was coated in Zinc primer, but I have done this beofre without issue. Don't like the idea of seam sealer on bare metal wanted some other protection in there.

It seemed to be reacting with the zinc primer and the grey sealer was getting wet black streaks in it from the black zinc primer as I applied but I figures it would dry out ok.

I've had seam sealer react with primer too. Now I use cold galv spray and as long as fully dry (24hrs) not a probelm. I wonder if that might be the cause here - low temperature meant longer period should have been allowed for the primer to dry. How long from applying primer to seam sealing ?
