I saw that on eBay and thought it looked good. I thought they were much bigger on the torque number than that? But meh. Great cars and that V8 needs a little breathing on and it will be awesome. You can double the factory numbers without too much grief.
Or just cruise it as-is.
It looked a decent price on eBay so well done you.
Enjoy.

The '77 Fleetwood Broughham with the 425ci V8 was quoted with 180bhp and 320 lbf.ft It's a damn fine looking thing whatever it is! ;D David

EPIC!!!!!!! It would have end up in the sea after a few miles if I'd bought it. BTW when I came over to pick up my Karmann with my dad, all my 25 kg luggage allowance was used on tools (didn't need them).

Great story though! haha Apologies if they were some of the many people made to drive up a pavement to get round the sellers Mercedes while he fumbled for the battery...

You could have saved yourself an hour and met the early Dublin ferry by getting the train from Southampton Airport to Eastleigh and then straight to Fareham. Just saying like.

The amusing thing is I have another car (for work) bought in Wales, that I was to pick up on the way back but I just thought, no way, not risking that on top of everything, because it's an unknown quantity also...

That is the strangest Peugeot I have ever seen..... Well done man, I feel your pain having done similar with the GT6 from Southampton to home ----- hard to beat the "full MOT, running well" assurances. Anyway, it's home now so you can get on with putting a French diesel in it
