Because it now seems my old carb is too old for the motor factors. Been hunting a set of engine mounts and a gearbox mount (I'm worried that 1.6 may soon bounce out the bay completely and slap me on the face for not fixing it) and pulled up nothing. All the usual sources have been broached.
While I am at it, and being new to the off road game, can anyone advise a good place for aftermarket Vitara parts? If I'm changing them, I may as well beef em up!!
Also, apologies if this should be in tech sec, but it didn't seem like a technical request.
Much love!

Try TWMotors in Tunbridge Wells as they have been Suzuki dealers since 1972. They have all sorts of parts. You never know.

How old? You may be pleasantly surprised by calling into a main dealer's parts dept Seconded, most parts I can get from a good motor-factors but failing that the local Suzuki spares department is actually very good. Things are particularly cheap but they're not extortionate either. As for aftermarket offroad parts, Bits 4 Vits are worth a shout: www.bits4vits.co.uk/store/index.php
