Red Scirocco - Sheffield, Halfway - Found! 6/11/12

Hi all. Woke up this morning to find that my mk2 scirocco had been stolen. It's reg is e230 uns, it's red with gold bbs alloys and was taken from halfway, Sheffield. It should be localish as it had virtually no petrol in and there are no near 24 hour garages.ill post a pic later, if anyone sees anything it would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's been found

Just drove home my scirocco. the scumbags ditched the car on westland close, westfield. they had forgot to tell me about this by the way, it had been in the holding place since sunday morning, useless. cd player gone and ignition stuff messed up, as expected. also caught both bumpers on the way out. so nedd new ignition barrel, lock ingnition housing and to repair the steering wheel lock. anyone know of any easy way to repair the steering wheel lock?

Nice one they found it best way to do it properly is get the full ignition and steering lock from a breaker it should come in one piece. strip a second hand barrel down and swap the wafers from your old one over to the new one. check your column for damage first though you might need a new one. Good luck mate its not that hard but can be fiddly.
