Is that steel wheel/placca cap combo the same as what you get on the supa-rare steel-wheeled Rover Streetwise? Similar, not the same due to differing PCD's. And the caps needed for these are actually even rarer due to being fitted only to '90/'91 Metro C's, of which not many were made. I've got van lights, surrounds and a set of these centre caps if it helps.

Almost, but not quite. I do like how the Streetwise steels look, much more so than the alloy version.

Well, that's not right. I'd tightened the nut on this spindle before when the wiper dropped too low to be useful but it's come loose again. This happened on the M1 just before Woodhall services so I pulled in and retightened the nut, which I noticed is brass and therefore rubbish for this job. Discovered that the combination of ride height, skinny(ish) tyres and light(ish) car is excellent for driving in snowy conditions. Also discovered that I really need a deeper dished steering wheel because no matter what I do with the seat, the stock one is *always* too far away.
