Ace, would be interesting to use the M3 tailpipe turned 90 degrees as a sort of confusing puzzle homage to the twin pipe Z'ds are normally fitted with

Hmm, very interesting.
I always thought the torquey pull of the M30 (as fitted to my 535) would work well in my engineless 240z (bear in mind I don't actually know how the L series engines perform) but anyway this is a level up, I'm very much looking forward to this build.
Bookmarked,
Rob

stealthsylz i was thinking of using the M3 box in the normal place but would have meant cutting the spare wheel well out as well as loosing the tank must admit though never thought about turning it 90 degrees although it is quite long i have opted for another option which will be seen soon
M3 wheels nah 19'' too big i'm having 15'' need to go low to the ground GTR240z you sniffed me out lol
Hotwire thanks, a lot of peeps love the sound of it hope to fire up the m3 engine soon in the 240 shell after doing some more wiring
I'll post some more pics soon to where i'm up to

Nice project. Lovin the blue car! I'm generally not into J stuff but I've always had a soft spot for these since I built a 280 ZX Fairlady model as a teenager.
