Any guesses as to what this is from? The Case is Smiths, the Amp gauge is Lucas and the Oil pressure is Jaeger and if it is of any help, the bulb runs 12V... Any help appreciated!

I would guess either boat or light aircraft. Whatever it is, it must be pretty old and probably quite small if the electrical system was only rated at 30 amps. This makes me think small boat rather than aircraft, although I may be wrong. 30 amps at 12 volts is about right for a small car from the '60s, but the gauge housing doesn't look like one from a car. Could have even been for a tractor or earthmoving machine maybe?

the '-something- motor accessories' stamp would suggest it's an aftermarket item to me.

Thanks for the input chaps,
Jon W - What kinda stamps are you thinking? If you cant see the one on the face to well, it reads 'Smiths Motor Accessories Ltd - England None-o-Jewels'
It all looks as if it is a standard, production unit by its construction
Other than that and the makes on the gauges, I haven't got much to go off. Its just really weird that its 3 different makes for the 3 parts, in one gauge! The square gauge holes and square back plate are another weird feature, look abit 'hardcore' (?) for most cars which made me think aeronautical or military?

smiths did make a lot of aircraft gauges, so may be from a plane, not sure about boats though
