Right, I don't think I want this.

Where? Stockton On Tees
V5? Of course.
Price? £895, or WHY?
Fair amount of old MoTs and paperwork for past work such as brakes etc.
1989 car, about 106k miles (oddo in kms, speedo in mph so no confusion). Can check for exact figure if it's a deal breaker.
Recent service, glowplugs, oil, fuel and air filters.
Runs really nicely and does over 30mpg on a run and slightly less while pootling around town. Will apparently run on veg oil although I've not tried as yet...
Electric windows, central locking, decent stereo and a little chime that plays when you go above 67mph! Apparently due to Japanese speed limits, but I haven't the heart to disconnect it as I love the fact it still works and optimum cruising speed is around 65mph anyway (will happily trundle along plenty faster, but mpg starts to drop off). It also has an immobiliser fitted. It also has air con, although there is currently no belt fitted (I'm assuming this is because it stopped working, but as it's currently sub-zero I'm not about to bother checking!). All windows, central locking, lights, stereo, speakers, PAS and even the rear wash/wipe work as intended with no hesitancy or dodgy noises. The only thing that's temperamental is the rear demister, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Oh, and the inside/outside thermometer thingy, which works when it feels like it (about 40% of the time), but who needs one?! It also has a g-force type thingy which I'm assuming tells you when you're about to fall over.
It's a manual five-speed and all gears engage as they should with no crunching, grinding or whining from axles etc when driving. Both high and low-range 4x4 works and engages easily. I've not used it off road in anger, but thought I'd make sure it all works.
Tow bar, and I was told the electrics all work. Not having anything to tow, I haven't tested this.
Drives really, really well for an old bus, with light power steering etc. Truck-style sprung seats which make barreling down country lanes the most comfy thing in the world ever! The heater is nice and toasty for winter, and it has all sorts of col things like opening quarter-windows, sliding rear windows in the boot and storage compartments under the rear seats.
Feels like an absolute tank and there's a silly amount of room inside - great for mountain bikers or doggers. It's a little smoky from cold startup as you'd expect from an old diesel, but it's actually a fair bit less chuggy and noisy than expected. Fires up first time and instantly from warm and cruises around without trouble. I absolutely love driving it, and I've made a short walkaround and driving video that I'm currently uploading. If you're interested in seeing this then I can send you a link. I'm no Tarantino, but it gives you an overall idea of the truck. Being a turbo diesel it is lovely and torquey, especially between 2-3k revs, so it doesn't feel like you're flogging a dead horse at all.
Body is also surprisingly good. I've not found any areas of rot, just a few bubbles here and there, the worst of which is the passenger side wing and shown in the above photos. It's not mint by the standards of a car, but for an old off-roader I'd say it's really pretty good - certainly very presentable. It's nice and grubby in the photos, just as any 4x4 should be, but the overall condition is remarkably good for an old thing if you gave it a good scrub.
Tyres are all excellent, and the truck shouldn't need any money spending on it for the foreseeable.
Interior is generally in very good nick and the seats are dead comfy - no carpets as they were minging and just get worse from walking the dog on the moors, but there are mats down so not really noticeable to be honest. There are a couple of small cigarette burns on the driver's seat, but not much else to note.
