This winter I'll be preparing my mk1 Tina (yay!) to drive to Sweden with it in February/March! Gearbox and clutch swap, maybe find some protecting grills on the headlights, fitting winter tyres, buying many ignition/carb spares, changing the windscreen (mine's stupidly short so it leaks everywhere).
Can't wait to leave!

I really need to get on with mine as well but despite the fact I have a workshop, I can't bring myself to go in there in sub zero temperatures after having spent all day outside working on cars in the freezing cold and lying in freezing cold mud

this winter, I'm wanting to get some work done on my herald (in my garage) just seeing a couple of weeks ago how to fit round LED lights in the tail fins, ditch the over riders and fit wrap around vitesse bumpers. with a smoothed bootlid with frenched numberplate but by spring time I want to use some of these panels and rebuild a new bonnet for the Herald (even managed to get a brand new bonnet top) in this room in my house (once I tidy it up again)

For me: Reletively simple task of removing front suspension and brakes to upgrade to disc brakes from an MG Midget into my A35. First need to recondition parts and also buy parts which need replacing (which I won't know until I go home for Christmas on the 20th) then need to wait delivery. Finish it all up nicely. Bleed the system and see if it works. Then decide if I want a servo or not - unlikely. Also give my dad a hand with his LR lightweight that he's restoring and upgrading. Need to do all this in 3 weeks along with visiting people before I go back to uni.

Well, as my 'project' is in Wales, for winter I am going to actually work on it for the first time in a year and a half. Can you guess what it is yet?

A tractor I've come over all sensible this year, and am selling my 95% complete modern project in order to buy a 60 year old car that hasn't been on the road in probably 25 years.

Well having loosing my garage space last week, not a great deal, odd, when I was in my 20's snow and ice wasnt a problem, happily spend all day under a car spannering and covered in snow. 43 now, and just the thought of having Jack Frost numbing my gentleman bits while doing goodly things to my corty gives me a shudder. I'll just be starting her up and airing her out every weekend, and if my good friend has space, will be winging her up to his garage for fettling.
