A little project that I have been working on.

I'm a bit of a lurker here. I love seeing all of the cars we can't get in the states, like the Escorts, Hillman Imps and the Ginettas.

I started a little project called: www.backroaddriver.com

I realized that I spend a lot of my time scanning the interwebs for videos of classic cars. Most of what is out there is rubbish, but occasionally I find something good.

I decided to lump them all together. So now I have a blog. I hope you'll visit and enjoy.

I would welcome any input and certainly I am open for submission of good videos.

The keen-eyed folks here may recognize a few videos too.

Bang. Followed. Thank you ever so much for bringing the Jimmy Dean film to my attention. He was my absolute hero growing up in the 80's. Had the jacket n all but damn why didn't they have straighteners like lads seem to use as much as girls nowadays? My curly bonce was more Robert Smith than JD.

There really are some treasures on vimeo. The advent of the dslr has done wonders for the film maker.

dapper - the James Dean find was a neat one. Sometimes I find these gems unexpectedly. It's also amazing the rubbish that people share. It's sifting through the rubbish that's the hard part.
