It is with heavy heart I have come to the decision to sell my lovely camper van.
I have owned and loved it for the past 11 years but the need for Mortgage deposit means it was this or the fasty.
Its a 1973 model and was at one point a westfalia but now has a spiffing custom interior. Had a load of work done in 2004 then a new sill, front arch and cab floor 2 years ago with a bottom half re-spray.
For the last 2 years it has from time to time been getting sent out on hire through Scotland by camper so it has been regularly serviced and wanted for nothing as I couldnt afford for it to have problems.
Last year, before the season started I had the gearbox re-built by the cogbox (£670 plus delivery and fitting). Brakes have been fully re-built with new calipers, servo, shoes, cylinders and back plates. Front ball joints and track rods were replaced 2008.
It has a 1700 type 4 engine that runs sweet, stainless steel exhaust , leisure battery and as said in the thread title, its tax exempt (manufactured in November 72).
Here are some pics, the stickers are now removed.
