Just a post to see if anyone knows anything about this particular model xsara picasso, I bought this solely because it has a full length electric rag top which in my opinion makes this car awesome (my opinion only).
My local Citroen dealer tells me that this car is rare and that it was a very specific model but fail to recall what it was called, so any info on it would be greatly appreciated.
I will post some pictures of it when I have the time to do so but atm the weather is rubbish.
I know its only a picasso and you will all be screaming "its not retro" but I like it and thats all that matters. Thanks in advance for any info

One of my mates have a later model and it literally falls in pieces! piece of junk engineering technically speakin. As for the looks, i bet like anythingelse stancedwith funky wheels it would look nothin short of awesome.

My girlfriends best mate had one for years and it was never serviced. Think it did 13000 miles with the engine knocking its sack off but it never broke down once. Yeah all the trim was a bit curse word, but it didn't matter it was covered in assorted kids shoite anyway.

I'm pretty sure the sunroof was an optional extra, rather than a specific model. I used to work for Citroen, albeit a long time ago, so might have forgotten something. When they launched, I'm sure the models were LX or SX, and thats it.But had quite a few chargable optional extra's though.

I always fancied a crack at the Pluriel, cars with mixed ideas about what its trying to be.
Hard top Soft top Pick up
Beat it with the lowering stick and nice rims and it might even be good looking.

Well if this is an optional extra I know there are few left and the replacement roof is £2901 from citroen in france + the V.A.T. People are mostly right about bits falling off, Hey it's a citroen there "supposed" to do that. I am planning (only plans atm though) to lower it so the wheels are in better proportion with the car, parking on a steep downhill with the handbrake on achieves this with the rear lol. White steels with a flip glitter coat just because and uber yellow headlights. If I get that far plans would be to tune the hell out of it so it goes like the saxo did!
I will post pics for the Lol soon

i just bought one of these for my daily, was trying to find a rag top but couldnt so got the big sunroof instead. mines an exclusive so full electrics to go wrong but its so comfy its like driving an armchair. would appear the rear is on torsion bars so cheap to lower as only need front springs.

I can't find it in the 'Modus Operandi' thread, but there is definitely a rule somewhere about not having a Picasso thread without including this one:
