Additional Information:
I'm putting my Stagea up for sale as I fancy a change. It's a 4-wheel drive RS4 with a single turbo RB25DET engine, and like most Stageas it's automatic.
Mechanically it's fairly standard - the only engine-related mod is a turbo timer (which I haven't been able to work out). The engine pulls as well as you'd expect with 250bhp. The gearbox is a three-speed + overdrive auto as fitted to many '90s Nissans, and it does the job fine.
The only other deviation from standard spec (apart from the alloys) is that it's been fitted with coilovers all round. Personally I wouldn't have chosen to fit them as I find them a little soft for a sporting car at standard ride height, but they do have the advantage of allowing the car to be "slammed" at the turn of a spanner (which would presumably also firm the ride up a bit). As it is it's quite a discreet-looking family estate car, and I've occasionally amused myself by surprising boy racers (most of whom don't seem to have a clue what it is) away from the lights. It's actually a very relaxing car to drive when just cruising around, but it turns into a bit of a snarling beast when the throttle is floored.
The bodywork is solid but has a few cosmetic imperfections - it has the usual Stagea rust below the door mirrors, plus a small scab on the lip of the bonnet and a bit of surface rust round the nearside rear arch. It also has a shallow dent in the nearside rear wing above the bumper, which isn't particularly noticeable except when the light catches it.
The wheels are aftermarket 15" alloys; the tyres have plenty of tread but are not the grippiest compound I've ever experienced.
It's pretty well equipped, with electric windows all round, remote central locking, climate control (with cold aircon), auto lights, and a JDM stereo that only picks up Radio 2 (although it plays CDs OK). It also has permanent 4 wheel drive with a centre diff lock, and having used it in the snow I can vouch that it all works as it should - as does the ABS. The speedo is still in km/h.
It passed its MoT just over a month ago with no advisories, so is MoT'd until 30th January next year. It isn't currently taxed, but I'm still insured on it so could tax it if need be. It has a fair bit of history with it, including a cambelt change at 131,000 km.
Here's a not particularly great photo to give you an idea - I'll take some more later in the week.
The car's about 15 miles NE of Norwich, and I'd like to see £1,200 for it.
