Alreetee Last night and this morning my car (mini) has really struggled building up oil pressure. The light will stay on and slowly fade away but took longer this morning than last night. Am I looking at a stuck pressure sensor? That's one of the few bits on my engine I've never had apart before! Thanksss

And I've just been to move it now after an hour stood and the light went straight out?!

Yeah, could be the valve not seating right. They are pretty easy to get at to change. A new ball bearing and a spring is only about a fiver.

Stick an oil pressure gauge on it and see what the pressure is actually doing.

Could well be old oil - it does degrade and thins out, so it takes longer to build pressure. I'd be changing the oil and filter just to be on the safe side.
