The ongoing misfire saga with my Golf continues
I've replaced the leads, plugs, dizzy cap and rotor arm and it's still idling rough/misfiring. I've also replaced all the vacuum hoses and the breather valve bung.
Next on the hitlist is the hall sender and coil. The coil is straight forward byt the hall sender looks like a pain in the .
I've read the Haynes manual description of how to remove it and it's basically as clear as muck. I know the dizzy has got to come out and the timing marks all need lining up but can someone explain it in laymans terms for me please? Is it a hard job? I've looked at the diagram of the dizzy and I've got to drive a pin out the bottom to change the hall sender?
