I've been living here for a little while now , but still struggling with the local knowledge of 'go-to' places for things like metal , powdercoating , sandblasting etc ,

Got a little workshop at the back of the house with a yard , Love to tinker and chat about cars all day , anyone else like minded wanna get involved in a little community spirit?

Like you I don't really know the good local places, despite living here for over a decade!

iam in kempston as well theres a vw meet I go to at corner 5 box end the last sunday of each month and then we drive to the embankment bedford where theres a streetrod meet there are some nice retro cars there, its on this sunday coming

But there are lots around , just drive round a few farms and see if anyone has a barn empty , cheaper than a industrial unit for sure!

I have a 7 replica kit car in my garage along with some gear people may no have access too plasma cutter tig welder etc

I'm in north Luton (occasionally work out of Ampthill) and into the old Triumphs. I carry a small bag of rust with me when I'm away from home so I always have something to remember them by.

Hello all. A lurker here, currently residing in Oakley, Beds. I have recently rented a single garage from a housing agency in a block of garages in the next town along, Clapham, but so far haven't managed to find it. The housing agency have no idea which garage I have rented, the key they gave me doesn't fit in any of the locks on any of the garages in the block. Am somewhat disappointed, to say the least. Anyhow, got a TR7 and a Karmann Ghia which i need to find a roof for. Would be great to hear from anyone who can help.
