As above! On the way back from classic night at Ace cafe saw this car going sideways round one of the roundabouts nearby ... very strange........ must have been icy or something!! ;D   Vid:-  |

Crikey. I'd say that roundabout is simply bloody lethal. Impressive the driver managed to avoid crashing for so long. Must be talented to keep it going with that amount of angle |

I have to be careful here as I said some harsh stuff about the Escort van guy doing a joyrider impression.  untimate drift machine? Quiet roundabout, smooth and controlled, and rude not to play on a wet empty roundabout if you can!  ----- Diesel us dudes have to watch out for, was watching some police type thing and loads of trucks and busses sploshing their pink about. see it every morning with greedy waiting busses! |

Thing is, it was very busy where that van was and he was clearly showing off for the sake of it, mid day traffic, parked cars and pedestrians inc kids iirc, and although it looked controlled it still looked scary and all over the place. and yes some of us took it too far. few of us are saints, we own cars to enjoy and have fun, if risks are weighed up, assessed, and acted on we can get a bit of enthusiastic driving practice. That roundabout does look pretty water logged! |

The fact that it was stopped when another car came is the difference between this and the Escort (and that other roundabout drift video that popped up a little while ago)...

Impressive stuff...although I think that we're being a tad hypocritical here. If this was someone in a new BMW with a big spoiler we'd all be ripping into him.
I'd like to see some more videos just like this, but I'd much rather they were filmed in a big empty industrial estate! ;D

it looked fairly empty to me, and the ace is always full of 'shenanigins'. i missed this escort van vid people speak of tho ...
rmad is right that some people on here would rip into a big spoiler BMW if it was on here
but likewise, if it was the same volvo but in sweden this thread would be full of "FTW"

Just seen the vid you guys were talking about ... Just so you know as you can see the road was empty, and the car was in complete control! I go to ace cafe regularily and have done for years..... I also have worked closely with ACE on a number of the nights there when I worked for a certain famous chav car magazine..... I therefore would not do anything to pee them off / upset them as they are all very nice people.. The roundabout in the vid is about 400m down the road from the cafe and is out of sight... There you go so stop your whining!! tut tut 'ers ;D |

It works for me i'm just trying not to be too hypocritical! ;D  Tell me this though, whats teh Police situation like? with all the likely antics round there i'd expect it to be crawling with dibble ready to jump out of bushes! |

in comparison to a night in the summer during 'max power' night that couldnt be safer. that was mayhem too many cars and people, don't really have a problem driving round and round a roundabout which isnt busy... although really you should have been signaling to indicate to other road users your intentions   and i definatly think the roads were slippy, it was alot more interesting on the way through park royal to acton  |
