How much do you guys think this is worth? K-registered 1.6 'Azure' special edition. Silver with unmarked 'Zolda' sports trim. Manual gearbox and only 45k miles with condition that reflects the mileage and the fact that it has always been garaged and has only 1 previous owner. New MOT and Tax. I guess the late Sierra's don't have the same kind of value as the early models? Attachments:

Any history/old MOT`s etc to prove the miles at all? Is the body rust free?
If so, I could be interested if it`s for sale......

Nice looking car, but won't fetch too much - say under a grand if paperwork backs it up.

I have not seen the car yet..... but i am told the history is all there with MOT's to back up the mileage, along with proof of a cambelt change (not sure how recent) Apparently rust free and in outstanding condition.
Person offering it to me wants £1500.00, which is fine, if thats what its worth. But i wont need the car for to long (although you never know how you can become attached to these things) and don't want to take one in the nuts come time to sell.

Its a tough one. If I was in your position, I'd be looking at no more than a grand. Having said that though, £1500 isn't too far out of the way; I'm sure you could get that when you sell it on if you're not in any mad rush. It'd almost be a shame to add another owner to the V5 just for a short period though.

If you're looking for an investment, you wont make money on £1500 at all.
If it's as good and as clean as it sounds you get £1000 for it at the moment if you wait a while.
If you like the car, and plan on keeping it a long time, then £1500 wouldn't be so bad if you like the car for what it is.

To be fair it looks flippin sweet in the pic. £1500 seems neither a barg nor a rip-off, it’s probably about right but don’t expect to make any money out of it.

As other have said £1500 is probably about right. Although I wouldn't expect a quick sale when you resell. I recently paid £800 for a decent 2.0 GT although I was looking at plenty around the £1500 mark and twin cams seem to command a little more of a premium. Despite the engine being a bit poo.
Is it a Pinto or a CVH? I know strictly it should be a CVH, but I've seen plenty of late Azure models with Pintos.

Sierra - here we go again! He has an illness, it's not his fault.

If you like the car and it ticks whatever boxes you need it to then go for it, 1500 sheets could buy something dull instead. Have a look & make an offer on the ol girl, if you like the car then someone else will if you decide to move it on in the future.
