That's nice. The only thing that looks off to me is the front wheels could do with being a bit narrower to fit the arch, I don't think the arch should be out any further than it is. The front lip and new sill profile is nice too. It all fits the proportions of the car nicely, when done it'd look almost factory I think. don't worry, wheels are for mock up only, proper wheels will not be sticking out like that on the front

Hello Tony , Don here. Proportions look good . I was a bit unsure of the ET20 offset on the fronts thinking that the E36 versions of the RC090's would sit better but that would give a staggered look which I don't think would suit. If the fronts are going to match the rears then the arch depths are spot on . It'll look tough ...........

Looks about spot on to me, very nicely proportioned and fit nicely with the lines of the car.

Watching this thread after recently re-reading the epic victor thread and looking for any help, inspiration and anything else needed for my wheel arches and inner and outer sill.

got a genuine tech question for you tony ! butt welded changes in profile on bodywork
i've done the same a few times, similar situations with overlapping spot welds. i get full penetration when viewed from the rear, however when i grind the welds back roughly, then flap disk and then DA so its a perfect smooth invisible finish, every now and then i get a hair line join re-appearing between the two separate bits of metal and i have to go back and re-tack it and dress it again. just wondered if you have any pearls of wisdom, at face value it doesnt make much sense as the welds appear to have gone full thickness

You really are an inspiration mate. Looks great so far. Thanks Grizz

Nice to know I'm not the only one, but would be nice to know where going wrong !

Amazing work as ever, looks seamless, which is the intention! I have set of the narrower BBS wheels on my e36, would happily swap you a narrow pair for a wider pair to get the staggered look! Missing the AL-W 535 updates, but the celica is a worthy alternative.

Done a bit more on the Celica, I'll not go into too much detail here, as I'll add the how too, to the Making Panels thread After fully welding, and grinding, and a whizz over with the DA Stunning - make with the how to thread stat............ Brilliant work so impressive
