I wanted a cool summer cruiser, something big and cool. Always fancied a Jag but was leaning towards a w210 E class till i heard a mate of a mate was selling this. I had to have it...
i picked it up yesterday
Its definitely the lowest car ive ever driven. The photos don't really show it but the rear subframe is literally about half inch from the road.
Its a 3.6, runs really nicely, and the body is in really good shape. I haven't found any rust yet bar a couple little scabs. At some point in its life it was shipped to Hong Kong for a few years then shipped back.
It has the digital dash in MPH but the analogue speedo is in KMH.
I have ordered another set of rear springs because in reality it really is too low to drive and although it goes against every fibre of my body, i am gonna to cut the new springs a bit higher to raise the car up about an inch at the back plus it will even out the height and get rid of the reverse rake.
Never had a jag before so its all a bit new to me. Also, the wheels are genuine splits, apparently from a Corvette??? Anyone ever seen them before?
