Brilliant variation on a normal show write up, a nice variety there!

Excellent. I started doing this in a half-baked fashion at Wheels Day a few years ago but didn't get enough pictures to make it worthwhile.

I have to say, the Gottis on the Alpine win for me, not just because they have rotor shaped centres. I was entertaining thoughts of getting three-to-four-stud spacers made all afternoon. Shame I'd probably never find another set, ever.
If it was a "weekend of tailights" thread then the Olds 88 would win it for me, although its bonkers wheeltrims came a close second

Thanks for the kind words. Actually I sort of regret always going for the rear wheel as some of the brakes look pathetic! Also I could have snapped so many more (the Orange Crush Rangey springs to mind, not to mention Mad Mike's RX8).
If we're picking a winner I'd nominate the red centered 3 studs on the convertible Talbot just for being bonkers. 6" centres in 14" lips FTW (yes I'm probably exaggerating a bit).

This is a wheely good thread.

An interesting perspective on the car show picture thread, it made me focus on the wheel details.
